OregonDays2018

Region 12 wants to reach every member with our education programs, so we’re taking it on the road and bringing a two day event to Oregon at a comfortable, central, scenic location!  Although it’s called Oregon Days, it’s for EVERYONE in Region 12 and any interested singers in other regions!

Regional faculty members include Barb Vander Putten, Kathy Scheel, Cyndi Sharp, Julie Starr, and Angela Suraci.

Registration fee includes lunch, and is just $40 for LAW, $45 for Mini-AIM and $80 for both days.  (Slight surcharge for participants outside of Region 12.)  Youth discounts for those 25 and under are also available.

July 28 is the Region 12 L.A.W. (Learn Arm Waving) school returning to Oregon by popular demand!  Directors, assistant directors, section leaders and choreographers can all benefit by learning more about conducting the music, but singers benefit most of all!  Imagine finally decoding what your leader’s nonverbal signals really mean!  This will be the third time we’ve brought LAW school to Oregon and we look forward to seeing women who’ve attended before as well as newcomers to this fun program.

July 29 is a mini AIM – Think of it as a one day AIM weekend in your back yard!  There are classes on using regional and international resources, leading and participating in better sectionals, communication skills and membership growth, choreography for small choruses, and more!

Want a PVI?

Our Regional faculty provide no-charge coaching as a service to you, our members, at every AIM! You can get a customized, individualized coaching in either vocal or visual elements of your performance.

PVIs (Personal Vocal Instruction) and quartet coaching time slots are booked on a first come, first served basis, so don’t wait! When all available time slots are full, we won’t be able to fill any more requests. No on-site registrations are accepted for PVIs or quartet coaching.

Please note that you cannot request a specific instructor – instructor availability varies throughout the event. If you want a PVI or quartet coaching with a specific Regional faculty, contact them separately for a time outside of an AIM weekend.
